Our complete terms and conditions are contained below, but some important points for you to know before you become a customer are set out below:

We may cancel, at any time before delivery and for whatever reason, an order that we have previously accepted.
We will have no liability for any Third Party Software, or any unavailability of or delay in providing a consultation or treatment due to a failure of Third Party Software, or any liability caused or contributed to by information you provide to us in connection with these Terms.
Our liability under these terms is limited to the price paid by you for the products the subject of the relevant claim, and we will not be liable for consequential loss.
We will have no liability for loss of, or damage to, the products, any injury or loss to any person, failure or delay in providing the products or a breach of any law, where such loss was caused or contributed to by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control or act or omission of you or your related parties;
We may amend these Terms at any time by publishing updated terms on our Site.
Nothing in these terms limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We and our employees are not medical practitioners or health professionals, and do not give medical advice, treatment or diagnoses. You acknowledge and agree that the consultations, services and our recommended products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and you are solely responsible for determining the suitability of our products for your circumstances, and your reliance on our recommendations or products is at your own risk. You acknowledge and agree that nothing in the consultation, on our site or provided with the products may be taken to be medical advice, treatment or a diagnosis by us or our staff, nor are they intended to be a substitute for consulting a medical practitioner. If you have any health or medical issues or concerns, you agree to speak with an appropriately qualified medical professional prior to participating in a consultation or treatment with us.  

Bookings
All online bookings incur a 50% deposit that is due at time of booking to secure the time slot, which will be deducted from the total cost of the appointment. You will receive a pre-appointment consultation form 3 days before your booking via email and SMS. You will be required to provide us with details relating to your medical history, known allergies, skincare routine, lifestyle preferences, and any other information we reasonably require in order to make informed recommendations regarding our skincare products. 

You will also receive a confirmation text the day before your appointment.

Cancellation Policy
We have a strict 48hr cancellation period. If you cancel an appointment within the 48hr cancellation period you will forfeit your booking deposit.
If you cannot make your appointment for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible by messaging us on Instagram: @thefacialbar_gc or sending us an email: admin@thefacialbar.com.au

If you cancel your appointment outside of the cancellation period,, giving us more than 48hrs notice, your booking deposit will be refunded back onto the card used at the time of booking. 

Running Late
If you find yourself running late to your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. We will always accommodate our clients where possible and are usually able to adjust your appointment to compensate for 5-10 minutes. 
We strive to provide the best possible experience for our clients and we will not be able to complete a service if you are running late by more than 50% of the treatment time. You may be offered an alternative service (at full price) if appropriate, otherwise it will be deemed as a no-show, our cancellation policy will apply and you will forfeit of your booking deposit.

No-show Fee
If you fail to show up to your appointment without notice, our cancellation policy will apply and you will forfeit your booking deposit.

Refunds
We do not refund items for change of mind. All product purchases are final, and we cannot accept exchanges or product returns due to risk of contamination. We will only offer an exchange if the product packaging is deemed faulty or damaged. You will be required to return the product to the shop within 7 days of purchase for assessment from the manufacturer.

Results
Please note that individual results may vary and are not guaranteed. While we strive to provide the highest quality treatments and services, the effectiveness of facials and skincare products can be influenced by a variety of factors including:
Unique skin type and concerns: Each individual's skin is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.
Overall health and lifestyle: Factors such as diet, exercise, stress levels, and medications can all impact skin health and results.
Consistency and commitment: Achieving and maintaining desired results often requires consistency in following recommended skincare routines and treatment plans.
Therefore, we cannot guarantee that you will achieve any specific results from our services. We always encourage open communication and recommend consultations with our skilled estheticians to discuss your individual needs and expectations. They can guide you towards treatments and products best suited for your unique skin and advise on realistic expectations for achieving your desired results. By utilising our services, you acknowledge and agree that individual results may vary and that The Facial Bar does not guarantee specific outcomes.

The Facial Club 
Payment plans cannot be cancelled after the 24 hour cooling off period or within the minimum terms.
Plans can be paused for up to 3 months in times of financial hardship, personal hardship or serious illness. During this period, no benefits can be claimed including discounted products, services or other free member benefits.
Plans are non-transferrable to another person.
Discounts on products cannot be used in conjunction with other sales and promotions.
Clients may incur cancellation fees or treatments taken off their remaining plan if they breach our booking or cancellation policy.
Loyalty cards benefits cannot be used in conjunction with The Facial Club and you will not accumulate stamps.

Loyalty Cards
Loyalty card benefits cannot be used in conjunction with The Facial Club and you will not accumulate stamps.
Monetary discounts can only be applied to full price treatments and are not valid on special offers or promotional services.
Free add-ons can be used on any service. Free facial can be used towards any of our services.

Purchased Gift Vouchers
Store bought gift vouchers can be used towards any of our full price services, including special offers or promotional services. However,  they cannot be used towards skincare and cannot be used towards our already discounted new client offer.

Promotional "$100 OFF" Vouchers
Promotional vouchers, or those gifted at events or to local businesses, must be surrendered at the checkout and $100 will be deducted from the remaining total. Promotional vouchers can be used towards any full price service, excluding special offers and promotional services. These vouchers cannot be used towards our already discounted new client offer and cannot be used towards skincare. 

New Client Offer
New clients can book our 45min "Glow Time" facial with a $50 discount. 
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer, or promotional voucher.  Our referral offer does not stack with this discount, and referring existing clients do not accumulate account credit.

Referral Offer
Any new client who books a full priced service (excluding special offers and promotional services) and is referred by an existing client will receive $50 off their remaining total at the checkout. Our existing client will receive $50 account credit to be used towards their next visit. Our referral "$50 off" offer cannot be used in conjunction with our "new client offer" or any other already discounted services. 

Account Credit
Existing clients receive $50 account credit for every new client that makes a booking and completes a service. Account credit can be used towards any service including special offers and promotional services. Account credit can be used as a booking deposit, can be used in conjunction with loyalty card discounts, but cannot be used towards skincare.

User Generated Content
We encourage you to interact with us on social media.
You may be permitted to post, upload, or submit content, such as text, images, videos, and other materials. You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant The Facial Bar a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right and license to use, modify, adapt, publicly display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving our services. You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You must not post content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing on intellectual property rights, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove or refuse to post any content. 
You may request that any of your user content is removed from the site or social media by sending us an email to the address at the end of these terms. We will endeavour to action any removal requests within a reasonable time.

Use of the Site
a. You accept these terms by making a booking or placing an order via the site.
b. Any information you provide to us will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You agree that any information you provide to us in relation to, as well as before, during and after a booking, is true, correct and complete. Despite anything to the contrary, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for, and you waive and release us from and against any liability caused or contributed to by, arising from or connected with any information you provide to us in accordance with this clause.
c. You acknowledge and agree that the cancellation policy or no-show fee, as applicable, is a genuine pre-estimate of our loss suffered as a result of your failure to provide us notice of your inability to attend your scheduled appointment.
d. You must not use the site and/or place an order for products through the site unless you are at least 18 years old.
e. When using the site, you must not do or attempt to do anything that is unlawful or inappropriate, including:
  1. anything that would constitute a breach of an individual’s privacy (including uploading private or personal information without an individual's consent) or any other legal rights;
  2. using the site to defame, harass, threaten, menace or offend any person;
  3. using the site for unlawful purposes;
  4. interfering with any user of the site;
  5. tampering with or modifying the site (including by transmitting viruses and using trojan horses);
  6. using the site to send unsolicited electronic messages;
  7. using data mining, robots, screen scraping or similar data gathering and extraction tools on the Site; or
  8. facilitating or assisting a third party to do any of the above acts.
