What Is the PhotonX?
The PhotonX is an advanced, ARTG-listed IPL (intense pulsed light) platform that combines five technologies in one device. Interchangeable filters allow us to target specific concerns with precision, so your treatment is tailored to exactly what your skin needs.
Multi-Layer Application
Larimide peels are applied in layers, allowing your therapist to build intensity gradually and tailor the treatment to your skin on the day. This gives us precise control, so you get the results you're after without overdoing it.
Targets Multiple Concerns at Once
Most skin has more than one concern. Larimedical peels can be combined and customised to address several at once, for example acne and pigmentation, or texture and fine lines, all in one treatment.

Your PhotonX treatment takes around 45 minutes. We cleanse your skin, apply a cooling gel and protective eyewear, then glide the PhotonX across the treatment area. Most clients describe a gentle warmth, and it's far more comfortable than traditional IPL.

What to Expect During Your Treatment
Downtime is minimal. Depending on your treatment, you may notice [mild redness for a few hours]. Pigmentation may darken slightly and flake away over [7–10] days as it lifts.

Does PhotonX IPL hurt?
IPL can significantly fade the appearance of sun spots and pigmentation over a course of treatments. Pigmentation can return with sun exposure, so daily SPF is essential to maintain results.
Can IPL remove pigmentation?
Yes. The PhotonX acne filter helps reduce acne-causing bacteria and calm inflammation, and works well as part of a broader acne treatment plan.
